I have found a new favorite dessert - a rice pudding that Aldi occasionally carries. It is a Mexican-inspired rice pudding that is sweetened with condensed milk and has a nice covering of cinnamon and sugar when you pull of the lid. The texture is nice and creamy, the flavor sweet, but you can still taste the rice. I just the love the balance between the rice texture and the satisfying sweetness of the milk.
The product retails for around 95 cents at my local Aldi store in Durham, NC. If it is available in your local Aldi store, give it a try and let me know whether you agree that this is rice pudding in danger of making you addicted to it.
This is great! Tastes homemade!
ReplyDeleteI too have discovered this at my local Aldi's (Buffalo, NY) and have fallen in love with it! Aldi's did not have it during my last shopping trip so I did a little research and found that Walmart also carries it. I went there and bought the rest on the shelf! I was never a fan of rice pudding until I tried this stuff!
ReplyDeleteThese are very good! I found them at Food Lion stores in Newport News, Virginia but I noticed that they were being discontinued. At 99 cents, I was tempted to buy all that they had left!
ReplyDeleteThis is my absolute favorite-don't like Cozy Shack!!! This can also be found at Walmart!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I eat 1 everyday. We try to stay at 1. Got our mom and dad hooked on it too. It's awesome....
ReplyDeleteThis is the very best rice pudding I have ever had!! I have told so many people about it, 88 cents at aldis I have to have this in my fridge all the time, awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI just ate one at my desk at work! I first found these at one of the Aldi stores in Cincinnati, but today I purchased one at Walmart. My daughter and I love these, and I agree with the previous poster, they are so much better than Cozy Shack (whose products are always overrated, in my opinion).
ReplyDeleteMy tummy is very happy right now.
This is my favorite rice puddind by far!! I have to buy couple of them every time I visit my local Aldi store. Tastes delicious!!
