Product review: Green Giant Seasoned Steamers

I received a coupon for Green Giant Seasoned Steamers through Myinsite and could not wait to try the fancy corn they were offering. The corn was mixed in with varieties of peppers and also contained a honey sauce to bring out the flavors of the veggies even more. With the coupon for a free product I was able to try the vegetables at no risk and I was so impressed with the quality that I have purchased the carrots in honey Dijon sauce as well and will likely try the seasoned Brussel sprouts as well. Unfortunately these are all the varieties that I could find so far in my neighborhood grocery store. I would definitely want to see a larger variety of these because as vegetable side dishes they represent a budget friendly and quick solution when you want a not everyday vegetable dish for a special meal.
So far, I prefer the corn to the carrots, the Dijon flavor is a little overpowering for the carrots. I prefer the sweeter corn flavor to go with white meats such as chicken, which is eaten more frequently at our house than red meat like beef. The beef would probably be less likely to be overpowered by the Dijon flavor of the carrots.
