Crowdtap sampling: Listerine UltraClean Cool Mint Antiseptic Mouthwash!

Through Crowdtap, I got to sample a new Listerin Mouthwash - the UltraClean Cool Mint Antiseptic Mouthwash leaves your breath smelling fresh, but also protected your teeth and keeps gingivitis germs off your precious gums and teeth. I like the minty fresh flavor that it had and really found it not to induce any sensitivity on my teeth. Both are big pluses for me because my teeth occassionally get sensitive when I use tooth whitening treatments and I had a lot of artificial flavors. My dentist knows about my hate for the artificial cinnamon fluoride treatment. So this mouthwash hits all the right buttons and left my breath smelling fresh for hours.

Crowdtap sampling: Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs

Through Crowdtap I got to try out Zicam Cold Remedy Nasal Swabs. Normally I would share the sample with my mother but there was a warning that people with a tendency for nosebleed have to be careful. So my mother with her medication could not sample - bummer, because she has a cold and really wants to get rid of it. I was happy to oblige since I am also going through my annual winter cold and the application of these swabs could not be easier. They are individually packaged and you simply pop one open, swab the inside of your nose and I felt relief after just one application. My nose was less stuffy and the cold seemed weaker too, less nasal drip. So hooray - anything to be less miserable in the winter.

Overall, I was impressed not only with the unusual and novel application method for a natural product. I also liked the ease with which to apply them and they seem effective when I tried them. I was concerned that someone like my mother probably should not use them due to her medication and would like some more information on how people with certain medication can still use the product or whether there are alternatives that are save for them as well. I still Zicam swabs in my purse to make sure I am prepared for a cold and also have a couple in my car for emergencies.

Crowdtap sampling: Zicam Cold Remedy Ultra Berry Lemonade Crystals

 My mother is busy making cookies for Santa Claus and of course here comes the annual cold that is not helping in baking the cookies. I was able to sample Zicam Cold Remedy Ultra Berry Lemonade Crystals through Crowdtap and decided to give her a couple of samples so she could see if her cold was disappearing faster. She mixed the crystals into a water in the morning for two days in a row and she said she felt better on the third day that she wanted to save the additional samples for another bout with the cold. She also indicated that the berry flavor is not bad and at least does not totally taste like medicine.
I like the fact that the Zicam Cold Remedy Ultra Berry Lemonade Crystals come in little packages that fit easily into my purse and so I can take them with me, especially when I travel and be sure that my cold does not hang around longer than necessary.

 Overall, I was impressed not only with the flavor of the crystals, but also with the fact that my mother's cold was going away quicker than usual. So far, the Zicam seems to be doing the trick at least in this one case. Give it a try and see if it helps you out.

Bzzagent sampling: Barber Foods Frozen Chicken Dinners - Cordon Bleu variety

Through bzzagent, I was able to sample the Barber Food Frozen Chicken varities. They come in a number of flavors, including our personal favorite Cordon Bleu. They also have Broccoli and Cheese, Italian-inspired flavored and even some with lobster. The local Kroger carried the Cordon Bleu and two portion (which come in one package) run you about $5 to $6, but you can find sales with prices of about $3 and even some online coupons for $1 off.
We paired the Cordon Bleu with some basic potatoes in butter and creamed spinach. The preparation is really simple; pop the chicken out of the packaging onto a baking sheet and put in the oven. Following the instruction on the box, the chicken came out nicely browned and you could tell that the cheese on the inside was melted - yum! Once cut open, the filling was substantial, with plenty of ham and Swiss cheese. The flavor was outstanding and the portion size was perfect for one adult as a dinner paired with sides.

 Overall, we were impressed by how easy the prep was and we thought the flavor was outstanding. It made us feel like eating restaurant food at home at a bargain price and (after a hard week at work) at our convenience - which meant sweat pants and fuzzy socks.

Crowdtap sampling: Jif Peanut Butter and Naturally Flavored Cinnamon Spread

Through Crowdtap I received a sample of the new Jif Product "Peanut Butter and Naturally Flavored Cinnamon Spread"and I must that I am impressed by the flavor combination.
The peanut butter is still the creamy goodness that you are used to from Jif, but now with a hint of cinnamon that goes well with just bread (PB&C), but I love it on waffles. I prepare the waffles either fresh or, if in a rush, from the toaster, coat them with syrup and then smear some Jif Peanut Butter and Naturally Flavored Cinnamon Spread on them for extra flavor. It makes the breakfast more filling and also really, really tasty. Neither of which is a bad thing.
So if you are looking for a new spin on the PB and something at breakfast, try Jif Peanut Butter and Naturally Flavored Cinnamon Spread and see how you like. I can highly recommend it.
